Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare and cook all food items according to Heaven on Earth procedures.

  • Comply with all food safety and kitchen equipment safety requirements.

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen.

  • Restock food as necessary or when directed at the end of a shift.

  • Label, handle and store all foods appropriately.

  • Other duties as assigned, including opening and closing duties, and side work.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

  • 1 year of restaurant experience required.

  • 1-2 years of experience as a cook preferred.

  • ServSafe Food Handler certificate required.

  • Must have attention to detail.

  • Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have professional curiosity, ability to take initiative, and a desire to learn new things.

  • Physical demands: Must be able to lift supplies up to 10 lbs. frequently, 30 lbs. occasionally. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
